The 2006 California Giant Berry USA Cycling national cyclo-cross championships attraced a record number of ’crossers from around the nation to race on the grass of Roger Williams Park in downtown Providence, Rhode Island, proving yet again that in the United States, cyclo-cross is a participant sport first, and a fan-based sport second.
