Three-time national champion Kimberly Bruckner is such a genuinely nice, friendly person, that in order to get some real dirt on her, it becomesnecessary to dice it up a bit. Catching up between the Cooma Snowy Classicand the Geelong Women's Tour in Australia, she found time to answer a fewmore “scandalous” questions thrown her wayWhen was the last time you…Felt embarrassed? Finishing fourth out of a four-woman break at the road race in Cooma. Some things never change.Ate something raw? Raw fruits and vegetables are about as faras I go. No sushi for me...I find it disgusting. It's very un-Boulderof me.Did something reckless? Well, I race my bike.Lost your cool? Here in Australia while I was futilely trying to get through frustrating Italian phone lines trying to talk to Chris [Baldwin] while being attacked by these horribly nasty Australian flies.Spoke another language? When I saw Petra and Judith at the Geelong race and practiced my German 101 on them.Pissed someone off? I’d say probably my T-Mobile teammates, with my super long showers when we're all sharing the same condo.Had a run-in with the law? Well, the closest I came was a few nights ago when I was speedily riding my bike down the road in the dark to the closest petrol station to get a Diet Coke, and I wasn't wearing my helmet, which is a major crime in Australia. It's an automatic $150 fine, so I was worried that each car that passed me would be the police. Yeah, I really live on the edge.”Were cruel to an animal? Do flies count?Wanted to kill your TV? The first time I watched Joe Millionaire. I couldn't believe I was watching that trash. But of course, I've watched every episode since too.Lied? Never.
