What a shot!
Velo,
I love the picture of Chris Horner crossing the finish line totowin Stage 2 at Tour de Romandie. That photo captures what I’ve alwaysthought of Chris Horner…loose in the saddle and guns-a-blazing! Congratulations,Chris.

The year of the American?
Dear Velo,
Not only is the picture of Chris Horner winning stage 2 at this year’s Tour of Romandie on your web site, one of the most powerful pictures even takenin cycling; (I may be optimistic) it also personifies the definitiveforward transition of American Cyclist into a dominant position withinEuropean Pro level racing. For the American Pro Cyclist, this mayindeed be their year!
What do you think?

Dear VeloNews,
The only thing more fun than reading about Chris Horner uncorking awin (you knew it was just a matter of time) is reading him describe howit all transpired. As much as I love listening to Bob Roll, he betterwatch out when Herr Horner retires from the road. Or better yet,how about a double-barreled domestic commentary on OLN and dump (Phil and Paul)? Horner is a guy whose wit and wisdom are damn near as fast as his legs– born to broadcast.
Sincerely,
Steve Rempel
