U.S. Ridley ’cross team changes to Stevens bikes

Published: Nov. 12, 2009

Press Release

The Ridley Factory Team, one of America's best cyclocross development
programs for the past 7 season, is excited to announce a new partnership
for next season. The Team which is presented by Plan C Sports Marketing
has formed a new partnership with Stevens Bicycles of Germany and Sinclair
Imports effective immediately. This partnership will manifest itsself in
full for the 2010/2011 season as all team riders will be riding Stevens
Bikes.

To announce this exciting partnership, 2 of our Elite riders will
transition to Stevens Bikes debuting at the NJ USGP weekend; Rebecca
Wellons and David Hackworthy. Stevens is capturing significant momentum in
North America headlined by the sponsorship of Katie Compton and World
Champion Neils Albert, both World Cup winners over the weekend! The
transition to "Team Plan C Cyclocross/Stevens" is part of that investment
for the Stevens Brand in North America.

Team Plan C will retain all of its existing sponsors of which it has
long-term partnerships and carry forward our successful history of
development supported by the investment by Stevens Bikes and Partner
Sinclair Imports. We are excited to represent a strong brand of
world-class cyclocross racing bikes and renew our long-term partnership
with Sinclair Imports. Lance Donnell adds...

"We believe that the Team Plan C program was very effective in helping us
establish previous bike lines in the USA and we are thrilled to work
together again with the STEVENS brand. We wish Rebecca and David success
in the upcoming events and can't wait to get the rest of the team onto the
best Cross bikes in the world...STEVENS!!!"
