    Biography

    Gilbert studied for pharmacy at the University of Montreal while pursuing a professional cycling career. At a young age he was drawn to triathlon, but his decision to be a cyclist was solidified in 2000 when he placed second at the Canadian junior road championship. Since then, his results have soared on both the road and the track.
