Biography

Born in Valencia, this Spanish junior championship silver medalist caught the team managers´ attention with his outstanding performance. An excellent and aggressive road racer, Alarcón succeeded despite the fact that he was hit by a car in March 2005 while he was training. He was still recovering from this serious accident when he won two stages at the Vuelta a Cantabria in 2006.
