It’s difficult for this Belgian team to support two Aussie stars with diametrically opposed goals. Cadel Evans wants more climbers to help him in the mountains, and Robbie McEwen needs powerful riders to set him up for sprints on flat stages. For 2008, Evans’ workers Chris Horner and Josep Jufre have been replaced by Yaroslav Popovych and Volodymyr Bileka while McEwen’s lead-out men Freddy Rodriguez and Stefano Zanini give way to Gorik Gardeyn and Maarten Tjallingii.
