
The inaugural Tour of Missouri debuted to great success in 2007. Though the course lacked major climbs, the rolling roads of Missouri took their cumulative toll on the riders. The 562.2-mile, six-day race, took an international field that included Tour de France winner Alberto Contador from Kansas City to St. Louis.
George Hincapie brought home the win for Discovery Channel in the American team's last major stage race on U.S. soil.
