Amstel Gold Race
Named after its title beer sponsor, the Amstel Gold Race is a relative newcomer to the European scene, having been launched in 1966. However, this Dutch one-day race has been significant for decades, first as part of the UCI Road World Cup, and then, more recently, as part of the UCI ProTour. Since 2003, the notoriously dangerous race has finished atop the Cauberg hill. Prior editions finished in Maastricht.
